Background/History
I originally joined CyberArmy back in the fall of 2000 when I was 18 years old. I completed several of the Zebulun challenges and earned the rank of Lieutenant Kernel. Soon before CyberArmy moved to .net, I deleted my account (teenage angst, I guess) and have been visiting CyberArmy off and on ever since. Finally in the fall of 2007, I decided to return to CyberArmy and began to once again contribute to the community.
I currently work for a large mobile communications provider in the United States as an Information Technology Administrator. I am responsible for maintaining more than 900 workstations and meeting the Information Technology needs of more than 700 users. I am also responsible for the management of an Avaya PBX system including Avaya Modular Messaging and CCM technologies on a VoIP platform. A partial resume is below:

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
-Led a project to upgrade a digital PBX system to a Voice Over IP platform on more than 900 workstations. Project included the distribution of new handsets to each desk, cable runs, core PBX upgrade, voicemail upgrade, user training, and user acceptance testing. Project completed in less than two weeks, with very few problems. I also led a similar project at another one of our call center sites that consisted of roughly 750 workstations.
-Created a comprehensive Information Technology training program for new hires including basic terminology, troubleshooting steps, processes, and procedures. I also conducted two hour training courses with training materials that included a 15 minute Q&A session for any miscellaneous IT questions.
-Assisted with the build out of a new 500 seat call center. Primary responsibility was deployment of network services such as DHCP, WINS, DNS as well as the implementation of a network wide anti-virus client/server install. I configured disk quotas and permissions so each user on the local network would have a 100MB mapped drive for personal storage. I also was responsible for creating the initial logon scripting for the windows network and setting the initial OUs and GPO schema for the site.
