If you join a project or anything else I am commanding, I expect to see some contribution. Also, if you are requesting a discharge I expect to see a reason, or else you will get a ban instead. I have no time to cater to passers-by unless they have ideas/code/other to contribute to whatever it is they are joining up. If you are interested in something, perhaps you may consider asking me about it BEFORE joining.
And yes, I expect you have read all of this before joining anything, as it makes sense to look at the profile of the person that is leading something before signing up.
