'''#CyberArmy Channel Rules'''

  • No Harassing Others, Excessive Caps, Offensive Nicks
  • Please do not ask for OPS, HALFOPS, or VOICE
  • Bots are only permitted in the channel with the approval of a staff member, and we reserve the right to remove them at any time.
  • Please deal with personal disputes privately and away from the channel.
  • Discussions involving illegal topics are not permitted (i.e. warez, cracking, etc.)
  • You will get kicked or banned if you become excessively annoying by way of being abusive, childish, trollish, or generally idiotic. Try to be a reasonable human being and everything will be just fine.
    • If a user disagrees with an operator's decision to kick or ban another user, e-mail a member of staff requesting help.
  • A low level of silly repartee among ops and channel regulars is a normal aspect of the channel and is considered part of the show.
  • Please understand that nobody gets paid for helping you. The Operators may be away from the keyboard or helping other users in private messages. Most users are on several channels, please show some patience.
  • The op who bans you or kicks you may not actually be the one you've offended. You'll sometimes be nailed by whoever is closest. We also do not second guess each other, so we are unlikely to remove a ban set by another op. Most of us will /ignore messages from anyone seeking to be unbanned.
    • Your position as a banee is rather bleak. If the ban is not removed within a minute or so, then try to learn from your mistake (if the offended op was kind enough to include a reason in the kick) and feel welcome again later in the day (probably). Your ban time may vary. When you finally get back in, don't be annoying by asking questions about the ban.
  • Some behaviors are so universally considered offensive, that we do not wait to see if you will cooperate and stop. We kick first and ask questions later. These offenses include but are not limited to:
    • cloning
    • vulgar language
    • "asciiart"
    • excess color
    • repeating
    • scrolling
    • flooding the channel or our users
    • abusive tricks targeted at naive users
    • Spamming and Advertising
    • begging for ops
  • Decisions regarding channel bans etc are solely representative of the channel staff who have access to do such actions and are NOT representative of the IRC Operators. Do not email the IRC Operators for help regarding such incidents.
  • These rules are subject to change at any time
  • Last but not least.Have FUN!!! And remember the golden rule: it's only IRC...
