Privacy Watch Releases
Privacy Watch is a centralized hub of information and focuses on writing new articles, tutorials, FAQs, and other documents about online privacy and security threats. All items written by this group will be placed on http://www.zzine.org in the monthly issues, which is a co-production of PWR and zZine.

Project updates
R o s e - Status of PWR
Update at 2007-11-20 00:46:13 |
Dan and I have decided to halt the main releases for PWR as we will be focusing the manpower we have towards our website content. We want more public interaction and to gain this we need features on the website.
As PWR takes up valuable manpower we have decided to get the features on the website up and running so we can attract people then PWR will resume.
We will tie up the articles we have pending for release, have them edited and then release them and that will be all until things are sorted out. (I plan to add to the articles pixel mentioned and get them completed.
If you want to write articles for the existing categories then this is acceptable. Just post on here what you are writing so pixel can check it out and give advice where possible. |
harurenu - New Article Scheme
Update at 2007-06-19 19:53:43 |
With the coming of the CyberArmy Library, articles for Privacy Publications will now be placed there instead of on another site.
It is no longer necessary to write for a specific "theme". I will still post "themes" and you can post articles in reply to those theme threads. However, you can also just post any article as it's own thread on the forum.
On the forum the article will be edited (much heavier than before) and then submitted to the library when it is cleared. This includes themed articles. They will be submitted individually, and grouped at a later time.
The reason for this is so we don't get hung up on "release dates" and just provide a constant stream of articles as able.
I hope this will help us start producing something that goes out again. Please not that we are growing much more strict on what will be accepted though. |
Prothis - News item note
Update at 2007-05-21 23:06:26 |
| All news items posted below this one were originally posted by Rose and Harurenu. They are listed under my nick because I am the one who moved PWR into this subgroup. Just to avoid confusion :) |
Prothis - zZine-PWR Merger
Update at 2007-05-21 23:05:11 |
As of today, PWR has been merged into a subsidary of the zZine publication. We will remain distinct from their articles, but will publish on the same dates on the same site.
Our publication mechanism will remain pretty much the same. We will continue to post articles to the PWR forum, under the assigned topics, but we will be coordinating with zZine writers and editors to ensure that both sides can produce the best work possible.
This condensing move was designed to help both of our organizations, and so it seems it will. |
Prothis - New Plan
Update at 2007-05-21 23:04:55 |
Please see the project forum for the new plan regarding release #15. Some things have changed. Also, I will be pruning the group in the immediate future, so please send me some kind of notice of your continued activity, and your intention to persist working with this project.
Thanks. |
