As you may or may not know yet, there has been a new link given to a server called "frontier.cyberarmy.net", administrated by Ret Mar Enstyne. For this article, I had a conversation with him a few days ago about the details.
@Enstyne: I suppose I choose the name frontier because it's pretty far away from me (India)
@Enstyne: and I like the good old Amiga game based on the elite series :)
@Enstyne: ah David Braben, you are truly a hero

Yeah, Enstyne is weird, but we love him for that, right? :)
This also explains the location, it means we are now located on 3 continents, namely North-America, Europe with two servers and finally Asia.

Now, let's venture into the technical details of the server a bit:

@Enstyne: max user count is around 300 iirc

When asked about traffic limit, he gave the following cryptic answer:

@Enstyne: traffic limit
@Enstyne: what traffic limit? :)

Finally, he mentions another good side of having his own server:

@Enstyne: I can fsck up my own server now instead of conducting my psycho experiments on other people's serv0rs.

Now, a certain date is nearing, and Enstyne is jumping into his Santa suit, as he's got a present for us and not afraid to use it! Further details, unwrapping of the gift will be conducted after Christmas.
