Administrative Note: Just to let you know the feedback system is currently being revamped in the way that replies are handled.
cMS Feedback

S: The cMS function would be pretty easier to administrate if there would be click in boxes to delete more than only one message at once. I think it shouldn't be that hard to realize but it would be heavily appreciated.

R: Coming in the next Dinah release.

S: Enabling BBcode for cMS would and a preview function would be nice. A preview function could also be used on the boards too in order to ensure that BBcode is working or to re-check the post in general.

R: From what I understand it's already there. The preview option has been suggested before, but never put into place. Staff that had responded to this post didn't know the current status.

S: Just a thought... How about an address book feature for the cMS? This way, we can easily click a name and send them a cMS instead of having to try and remember the weird spelling of some of the names.

R: This was suggested before and was not implemented, and is likely not to become so.

S: What about a sort of "sent" folder for cMS? Maybe this has already been asked by someone else... anyway... I just think it would be cool and helpful...

R: Coming out in the next Dinah release.

S: This has probably been suggested before but how about making groups in cMS. So I could make a group up of a list of all my GFX members and then just put in GFX group in the 'to' field instead of the individual names.

R: I has been suggested and will likely be considered for the future.

Office Feedback

S: "welcome to #morale if you have a problem of any kind please see a morale officer "

That was the beginning of the topic to #morale, and I was sat there thinking it was a bit silly that it's just in #morale topic...because if you're in there you either already seeking help, know they help or are part of morale. Got me thinking, surely if you wish to promote that people have the morale officers to go to, then you publicize it more. But spamming it on forums obviously won't help much. Maybe you could add a little line in the 'my office' section that says what the above did. Or in the 'profile' section there could be an info link of some sort that gives information about morale and ways to contact them, something like that so that everyone, especially new people, will see it, and it seems more official rather than just some dude saying stuff.

R: Unlikely that anything will be done with this. Morale reps are everywhere, and their IRC channel is very blatant about what it is, so there's no real need for a description in the ?My Office? section dedicated specifically to Morale. If that were the case, then every other brigade would have to be in there too, and the whole ?Brigade? section of the site would be useless.

Other Feedback

S: Is there any way to have a sort of list of white members? This could be very useful especially for recruiting, I think...

R: This idea was rejected. The list would be too unmanageable as people would join CA, and then never be seen again. Suddenly the list has about a thousand inactive members on it, and no one knows what's going on.

S: How about a search box on the office page which lets you do a finger search on cyberarmy members, rather than having to type the URL into a browser?

R: This suggestion will not be implemented. The usefulness is somewhat trivial as the browser can be used to do this. Extra code with no real benefit makes things bulky.

S: Requesting information about getting a shell account.

R: Shell accounts are somewhat a thing of the past for CA. I do believe you can get a shell account from our friends at Blockhouse hosting, although I confess that I do not know if it's free.

S: I don't doubt that you have some great CERTIFIED programmers within the sites structure staff. But honestly the gfx on the site are horrible. I think the best looking gfx is indeed the CA logo. It gives the site a futuristic look to it and all the other logos/pics are just -bad. I think you should have a staff devoted to the images of the site, not just images for a particular brigade.

R: The lack of high quality graphics help the site load faster. As for CA having a gfx brigade dedicated to cool looking pics, we already have that in CA-SAS. The sub brigade to the Internal Relations dedicated to graphics is GFX.

S: I know there aren't boat loads of requests coming in to be verified and replied to so I'm still wondering what the delay is?

R: Patience is a virtue. Staff sometimes take a while to verify things since they have to meet and such, plus planning is another overlooked factor. If your feedback hasn't been replied to, that's when you contact one of us in Feedback and we'll track down that status of your suggestion.

S: Make a page which lists the ranks in order?

R: Try here: http://www.cyberarmy.com/about/ranks.html
