Features
  • Table with user info on the main forum: It has been suggested that the bar underneath the banners on /forum/ be added to all forum pages. At this time, this will not be added - but in the future, we may see this or a similar implementation incorporated across more of the CyberArmy site.
  • Nickname Changes: From time to time, some members have managed to get their CA nicknames changed. It was suggested that some way of identifying past nicknames, or linking past nicknames to the present one could be useful. However, this is most likely not going to be implemented. In some cases, a user may have attained the nick change for some anonymity issue, and otherwise it is up to the user to inform people of the change, for example, via announcements, their forum signature or public plan.
  • Register: One of our newly registered members pointed out that our login page didn't have a 'register' link. This has now been added and users will see "Join CyberArmy now if you have not already registered".
Other/Miscellaneous
  • Affiliate Question: A visitor to CyberArmy was interested in possible affiliation, but unfortunately, no contact details were left. Remember, if you do not leave a CyberArmy username to contact, then an email or other means of communication needs to be included for us to get in touch with you! If you are interested in affiliation with CyberArmy, please visit http://sas.cyberarmy.net/subgroup/capr/ambassadors/ or contact us using the feedback system, being sure to leave contact information.
Report a Bug
  • Open Leadership Forum: A member of CyberArmy who was an executive officer for a group queried why he/she did not have access to this forum, and perhaps many others are wondering the same. Well the reasoning is, this forum is currently aimed at (and only accessible to) top level commanding officers and executive officers.
  • Dinah Sticky Glitch: As one or more of you noted, you can't sticky more than one response in a thread. This is done on purpose - only one sticky per thread is allowed. If you select more than one post on the same thread to be sticky, the highest (first posted) one will be linked to via the sticky!
  • Dead Homepage link: A dead homepage link for one of the CyberArmy groups was reported and has now been updated. If you come across any other broken homepage links, please submit them to feedback or cMS the C/O of the brigade in question.
  • Forum Date Display: One of you spotted a forum saying '1 month 4 weeks 2 days' since a post! Shouldn't this be 2 months then? Well, our coders have looked into it, and everything seems to be working fine - a month can be classed up to 31 days (depending on the month) and the level of detail in the calculations going on behind the scenes. So, don't panic until you see '.. 4 weeks 3 days ..' and then get back in touch with us!
Thank you to all who submitted feedback - every submission is considered and discussed. If you have yet to hear back regarding a request or report you made, please don't hesitate to cMS me (icklenewt) and I'll chase it up and reply to you with its status.

Remember, if you wish to be contacted in response to your feedback, or are requesting assistance, ensure that contact details are included.
