YES! :) Which is why I didn't bother to bring up the honest/honourary/etc. thing in the intial post; better to just treat Hs as consonants which is what they 99% of the time normally are. ellohay, onesthay, etc. Note I said "bonus marks" if you get it to work. ;) (without horrible cludging up the code, I should probably add :P) Also, I'm a bit confused, because both of the rules you cited are talking about Hs at the end or in the middle of words, which aren't an issue. It's only the beginnings of words where the sounds matter, as it determines how many letters (if any) to move to the end of the word: enough is enoughyway because it starts with a vowel. though is oughthay because it starts with (a group of) consonants. etc. --- So, in summary, I'd forget about checking for "vowel-like" sounds and just treat Hs as normal consonants. ;) The 2005 CyberArmy Pig Latin Contest!
