Has anyone else noticed that CA.com is back up? The zebulun challenges are all running, but when I got there I noticed noone has posted on the boards since 2004 - meaning I think I might be the first to notice.

Anyone got an update on this? I checked a few dead.letter mailboxes I still run and noticed MrY left me a message about it, but I just read it and the site seems to be down again.

Hmm, Yowler bought extra hardware for it so I assume he's really trying to keep it running. But he also said was about to change some stuff, maybe the downtime is intentional...

Yowler has already been to the IRC and informed everyone about it. However, apparently not everything is running yet, e.g. mailing services. If you forgot your old password or register a new account you won't get any e-mail so unless you have both an old account + password for it, you can't play yet. The challenges should be working though i guess.
This has again risen some old arguments over what should be done with old ca.com and atm flamewar is the choice of the participants, as it seems.
If you ask me I would leave zebulun on yowlers server, put a link to it here on the portal and make ca.com link to the portal aswell as ca.net
This way, there would be no need for two forums, two accounts and stuff. Also the problem that we would essentially need 3 ranks (brigade, sered, zebulun) is obsolete because we get point based sys anyway (HOPEFULLY).
Well, remains some problems like probably yowler not wanting to be his server basically reduced to zebulun (or maybe he doesnt care, i don't know) and of course staff here could argue that zeb is out of date and silly and they don't want to have a link to it here.. well well...
