yeah i know, all these idea for Sered posts are getting old but this is just a great site. Secure Extension and Ranking System(SERS) is a great challenge site. You should all check it out. Has great potential but needs some skilled members dedicated to helping it run. Check it out and see if you want to help out, if not just play the games, what does it hurt? Seems pretty cool. I flew through the first two challenges and got to the exploit challenge and was like WTF? I know security, but not mind reading, and that seems to be what that challenge is all about

all they did was take challenges from everywhere else...
with the exploit thing, just put in sers.sourceforge.net in the place where u put the site search for exploits, its a cakewalk from there...
the one im having trouble with is the javascript, i know its different from z1, but i dunno how. its been soooo long since i used js, i forgot most of it. i dunno what it sais, ill relearn it when i get a chance.

get on their irc and they allow you to get hints. It isnt a very active server but there is almost always at least one person on. I dont recall the server but you can get it from their site, maybe search for sers.sourceforge.net though.

Seems like a really cool site. I would just personally do away with that particular challenge, or at least change it. Cause it has nothing to do with skill, or learning. Maybe they should have like a terminal come up that says like the OS or something, or an ftp login you can SYST and get the info and THEN search for an exploit :) And then have a few exploits available, but only one that actually gets you to a higher level. Just my .02 :)
