Where can I download the Blowfish Encryption program? I remember something about Cyberarmy using it but I forgot. Also, is it better than the PGP encryption program, as in encryption security? Forgive me for my computer illiteracy but Im very paranoid and would like to use encryption to secure my emails or my files, whichever one it encrypts. Thank you much for your help.

I believe that you can tell PGP which algorithm to use when encrypting a file/e-mail, triple DES, RSA, IDEA, Twofish, etc. Blowfish is simply another type of algorithm (or way of encrypting a file) the Twofish algorithm was actually invented by the same company as Blowfish, and although it has not been around as long it is generally considered better. Whether or not cyberarmy uses blowfish I'm not sure, but password encyrption for unix systems depends on how they are set up but I believe they usually use tripleDES. For security remember that it is not just how strong the algorithm is but how strong your password is. Remember not to write your passwords down or use the same password for more then one thing. To make brute force attempts less of a threat use long passwords with different characters (see how long it would take JTR to break a pass with a ~ in it) For more info check out the following sites

wasn't that one of axem's scripts? I remember one encryption script that made your e-mails look like spam to escape carnivore. I wonder what happened to that stuff, oh well
