      personally i have nothing against what mitnick did...i have read teh book's from both perspectives and i believe him when he says he didnt relieze the severity of his actions...i believe that he will no go and be a stelar citizen and u never know maybe actually usful in the computer security world

          He also said he knew the laws were in place, and disregarded them. He also wasn't a kid when he got caught; he was 27 in 1990. I agree that perhaps he didn't know what collateral damage was, but he did know what he was doing was wrong.

            Well, I reckon he was still just a kid in the mind. Like those guys who write serious virii ... why? Because they get a kick out of it. Would your average 27 year old get a kick out of it?
