But you must remember that MS is a big business. It is not in their interest to let "competition" defeat them, weather it is proprity software or Open source. Some MS product and tecknology is very impressive and there is a place for the MS products in the IT world but I hope in the future that MS quality direction is changed and they produce software that is more reliable.

However like so many share based company's these days they are driven by the sharholders want for cash, and to make money you need people to buy more products. One way to do that is to have a monopoly in the marketplace and force feed the users.
