New zZine Website

I'm pleased to announce that the new zZine Magazine website is now officially open to the public and accessble at the usual address:

http://www.zzine.org/

The new website uses the excellent Drupal CMS as backend and provides various new and interesting features and functionalities, e.g.:

- User accounts, necessary to submit content, vote for polls, etc.
- Periodical newsletters: free signup, stay informed on zZine's latest articles and updates
- Enhanced search capabilities
- Free blogs
- A new publication interface
- Excellent editing/publishing backend
- Contact/Feedback form
- Podcasts downloadable from the main site
- User friendly, fully customizeable URLs
- Many RSS feeds
- And much more!

We're very excited about going live with the new site, but please remember that it is still in "beta" (yeah, it's fashionable now) and there still are a few things to sort out, such as:

- The template is not likely to be the final one. PrincesSoha and her team are working on a new, final design for zZine Magazine. Many thanks to Gisterogue for providing the beta template currently in use.
- The editor's test has not been ported yet
- There are some errors in articles, especially old ones, due to some porting issues and the way the data was stored in the old database.

Please note: for historical purpose, the old website has been moved to http://old.zzine.org: I'd like to personally thank Sorcer for developing the old zZine website which was used in the last few years.
