I cannot believe this for a minute. I cannot believe a member who contributed to Sered so much to deserve a promotion to the rank of Kernel just left (again?) for my post, which wasn't supposed to be an attack to him at all, but on the contrary an attempt to sensibilize the community to a rather inappropriate situation (NOT sefo's promo, but "brigadeless" coders). Please re-read: "Let's try to see the positive side of things: sefo got rewarded for the work he did on Sered. Since he was awarded the rank of kernel, he probably did a good job. I have only one remark now. And a serious one. Did you ever thought that field promotions involving members who can sometimes be considered "annoying" (by SOMEONE, I didn't say "me": I believe you are all grown up and mature enough not to flame me for that!) could be seen as unfair? Normally/lately field promotions involve higher ranks... Kernel, Generals etc. What about some other "white" member with a lower rank who helped out but didn't get a promotion because he/she's not in a brigade? Well, I think THAT is something unfair, and yes, I could send some name out if needed. How about that?" Also, check out my latest thread on Brigade Coordination (I believe it wasn't that bad, was it?) I have NOTHING against sefo, he contributed to the community, even if perhaps people don't like the way he carries on on the boards, but well, nobody is perfect! If he understood my post in that way, well, I'm sorry. I really didn't mean it as well as I didn't mean any other post which may have sounded "offensive" to any of you. I'm trying to help.
