Blockhouse Documentation |

![]() Ret. Mar Ikioi After some inquiries about Blockhouse and what help is available to those that have questions, I'll explain it a bit more. Here are some links to the documentation available to all customers: https://block-house.com:19638/docs/en_US/reseller/ https://block-house.com:19638/docs/en_US/site/ https://block-house.com:19638/docs/en_US/user/ For those who do need help finding information, like how to set up e-mail in Outlook Express, how to publish your files, how to access your MySQL databases, adding your new sites, etc., this documentation provides litterally hundreds of in depth explinations for all of your potential questions. The help system can be browsed by topic through Contents, for specific keywords either by Index or Search, by an explination of terms used via the Glossary, and can even be printed out directly if you wish to keep a paper copy of instructions. Each of these links is a specific help system. The Reseller Administrator's Help guides you through the process of controlling your master account. The Site Administrator's Help guides you through the running of each account and its services. The User Administrator's Help is for each of your users to be able to connect to the services you provide them, like e-mail, ftp, and shell accounts. Someone pointed out to me that some who aren't exactly "beginners" may still feel a bit shy about their own ability to run such a powerful package. I would suggest that anyone considering purchasing a package to spend some time browsing over these help sites provided by Blockhouse for our specific engine, Ensim Pro, and see how easy it is to find specific information for the questions they have. After looking around, you'll see that all of the information that you want is provided. If you can navigate the CyberArmy site, you have the skills necessary to use our help system, and that's all you need to operate a website. Blockhouse help is available 24/7/365 via our online help system. It does answer the vast majority of all questions you have. (Questions which it does not cover are usually posted to our main site with the answer.) Because users can find their own answers using this system, and because any tech support person would simply use this same system to answer e-mail/chat/phone questions, there really is no need for such support, except for true beginners. (True beginners being those who need to be walked through the process of how to navigate a website, how to double click a mouse, what an e-mail client and a browser is, etc.) If you don't know how to write a website, that's ok too. That's why we provide power tools to get you started with a professional site of your own. Explinations on how to use Power Tools is located in the Site Administrator's Help under "Managing Other Services", "Managing Power Tools". With easy to follow instructions, and the assumption that you know how to operate a computer, Blockhouse saves you money simply by not paying people to sit and read instructions to you that you can easily navigate yourself. Go ahead, and give it a try. :)
