miss/no fonts in MS words?

i've just encouter a really weird problem on my MS office. I've using Windows 2000 and Office XP.

I try to change font on my doc but there are only 3 fonts available: Device Font 10 pts, Device Font 15 pts and Device Font 17 pts. But when i go to Control Panel->Fonts, hundreds fonts showed up! Even funnier, the original font which that document is saved in is recognised. and i open Excel, it has all the fonts available. Any one pls help me to get all my font back, my docs looks real ugly right now.

I've reinstall Windows & Office but that didnt fix it. The same copy of Windoze and Office works on my other computer.
