are you using your own proxy, as in running your own server and using your ip as a proxy, or one you found somewhere else? May just be a matter of using a different proxy. If you just need another that allows https, I might have one that you can use, although, I'm not sure how fast it will be for you. And if you're just trying to set up a proxy, like Sambar, let me know, I know a little bit about that. (Not alot, but enough to get by).
