OSS help plz?

Tr tulkas

Alrighty, so like my sound card wasn't suppored on install w/ RedHat 8.0. No big deal, grabbed OSS's lattest driver. Got that installed (super easy!) Realy staticy, figured must be some interferance. Opened up ossxmix (/install/path/ossxmix) disabled AUX input which was causing the static. Felt all happy and stuff, until....

After about 2 or 3hrs (I haven't timed it yet) sound just completely stops. Like *boom* mid song no more sound. I reboot, and it's fine, but every time I get on after around 2 or 3hrs it does the same thing.

I haven't been able to find documentation on the OSS site about this particualar problem (at least not yet....) So, anyone out there know what's up?
