nah no need to pay for windows software, what you really want is a dedicated router, a normal small residential one from netgear / linksys etc should do the trick except for assigning subdomains, but if youre only using one computer as a server you shouldnt need a subdomain just one address. you would still be able to connect the 2 comps locally using local ips / hostnames.
