I have been doing research into windows security and there are a few questions that i need answering and was wondering if any of you could help.

1) TO make an account admin status, is it just a memory offset value? IE. 00000001 is admin and 00000000 is non-admin?

2) If the above is true does the memory offset run in protected mode? As you are not allowed to change it? using:

[INTEL BASED ASSEMBLER CODE]

MOV AX,1b
MOV offset,AX

[/CODE]

Please get back to me on this.

I have heard rumours that this is true but i don't have the technical expertise as of yet to read memory offset values.

Thanks kindly
