Unfortunatly, your best bet is to reformat, and reinstall... Pop-ups are usually a virus/trojan/adware and are a major pain to remove... If you do not believe me then feel free to download and scan with AVG Free and I can almost gaurentee that if your AVG is updated you will find something, unless it is spyware which AVGs free scanner will not find...
