I would suggest to right click on My Computer -> Manage -> Event viewer -> System This will provide all the system errors on your computer recently. If you happen to remember the time or if you can get it to happen again recheck the system log for the error. If you happen to see the error there go to eventid.net and check the details and of course post it here. :) If you computer runs fine is Safe mode then a third party application is causing the problem. Its likely a file thats needed wasnt closed properly when Windows went into hibernation and then once it was deleted the process can no longer run correctly. If thats the case...disable your start up items and then start loading them back in one by one to catch the bad one. There is also a Application section in the Event Viewer you could check regarding the error. Replies:
