Windows Vista - DVD Drive Disappearing |

  Alpha Maj genius3000 Anyone had any issues with a dvd/cd drive disappearing under windows vista? My friend's laptop just had this happen, it no longer appears in my computer or the device manager. I haven't looked closely but I'm sure it's still seen in the bios but I will have to look closer.
