first of all, not only the ps2 support needs to be activated, but also psaux support:

Device Drivers -> Input devices -> [*] Provide legacy /dev/psaux device

then the ps2 support under mouse -> ps2 mouse

In case that still doesnt work, try capturing from /dev/input/mice

Also make sure PS2 is not disabled by bios. In case this is a touchpad and not a real mouse, make sure it isnt disabled on hardware side.
