Gentoo has decided to go the route of Knoppix, and in February of 2005 (Ver 2005.0) they will include a graphical installer and a version that will boot off of a CD-ROM.

This will allow users to test the OS for their preferences. According to Gentoo, this will make it easier to show users how customizable and powerful Gentoo truly is WITHOUT having to install another operating system
