this plugin for MSN Messenger http://www.msgplus.net first of all has its own logging system (much better than msn's one) and lets you encrypt them with a password. unfortunately unless you know this password it would be very hard to decrypt them. I do not know what type of encryption it uses or whether there is anything on the net that will let you crack it... sorry.
