using a winmodem in redhat 9.0?

ive got a usrobotics winmodem (using a conexant chipset), is it possible to get a linux driver for it? ive tried the ones off linuxant.com but i couldnt get them to work, the driver would install but couldnt find the driver :(

below is what i got from a modem info tool, if it helps any:
