web graphic problems

LtKer silverknight

I recently got a new laptop.

it has win xp, and my screen res is 1400 x 1050

i have a wierd probe.

when i view images on the web, there all fuzzy around the edges and just all distorted

I tried updating IE and windows with drivers, but still nothing helped.

if i download the images on to my computer from the web and view them with any image view besides IE they look fine. im curious on why this happens and if there is anything i can do about it?
