Problem with ethernet onboard on redhat... |

![]() 2nd Lt darkcreature Guys ive recently decided to install redhat on one of my computers to start slowly on linux world, everything during install went well and it seems to work just fine but now that i try to configure internet access its giving me some problems. Im connecting to a routher trough an on board 3Com 3C940 Gbit PCI controller that my Asus P4P800 brought, and when i tried configuring it i saw that i didnt had the drivers. I booted back to my windows system, went online search for something about it and i came across to some posts abbout ppl who had the same trouble and some links to the drivers... i got the drivers but they arent compiled so i need to compile them, my problem is when i try to compile them using the command "make load", its gives me a 127 error, wich ive found out its a missing component, about an Insmode thing, wich i have no idea what it is... Well if anyone as anysugestions please feel free, or if anyoe is feeling helpfull and doesnt mind explaining what that insmode thing is please do :D thx ppl ++Dc oUt++ Replies:
