Hmm anyone ever hear/see this problem?

In XP pro jsut about 5 min ago when I go to re-adjust the window size (say vertacly) it compleatly frezes the puter and the screen is compleatly filled with thick bold vertical colored bars.

Any IdeaS?

1.7 ghz AMD
60gb HDD
XP pro
768 mb ddr ram
