 Tr Builder >If you put an ambersand after it then that just puts that job into the background and brings up another prompt in the foreground so you can carry on with something else. That's what I want to do. But before gedit loads I get error after error. And then sometimes when I save a document I'll get the error again. I can't figure it out. I don't know how to use vi or Emacs yet, so until I do I'm using gedit. I place it in the background so that I don't have to open up another xterm to do something else. Peace, Builder Replies:
