![]() Cpt Uzziah I think it's just as old a your computer, one of the oldest if not the oldest. During the installation you can take the option of choosing which packages you want to install just by choosing yes or no. Minimum install requires a 386, 16MB Ram, 500MB HD. You have have to install the 'A' series which would give you a base system and would get you up and running with an editor. Then you could maybe install the 'D' series which would give you all your compilers. Then maybe 'AP' which are apps that don't require X...anyway there is a list of series to install if you want. Finally you start the installation and you can take the option of full, newbie, menu, expert, custom and some others. If you take full then you install 2Gigs of software, if you take newbie, menu or expert then you can hand pic what you want. Anyway i think that would be a good way to get a minimal system with what you need. Hope this helps... Cheers Replies:
