Um, you need to be a little more specific. What exactly do you mean by "freezing"? Does your browser (I'm assuming Mozilla) lock up, does Xfree86 lock up? Does it also lock up when you FTP? If XFree86 is freezing, does Ctrl-Alt-Backspace terminate your X server? Are you on dialup, DSL, cable, or a dedicated LAN?

Always willing to help, but AFAIK, just giving the OS and "it freezes" is hard to troubleshoot.
