LtKer elybis

my opinion:

redhat, mandrake - good for desktop (win like, easy switch from win to linux)
suse, redhat, debian, slackware - server, where debian is completely free
bsd's - kicking ass stuff if you have the knowledge, however freebsd e.g. is well documented (the handbook)
