I always admired apple architecture but thought the OS was a pOS due to the problems FIOA mentioned and a few dozen more; all system level related. I recall our Physics lab had power macs (the 8000 series i think) and every time Netscape crashed *beep* auto reboot. Ugh!
I know that OSX was supposed to be a HUGE accomplishment from OS 7(?) but even as much as I crave a G4 Ti powerbook, I think I would install yellow dog or something else on it just because the bad taste OS 7 left in my mouth.
Visually, i think its a beautiful GUI...if that counts for anything. I would like to hear someones opinion who uses it. Where the hell id d0x or Asmo?? I figured they would be all over this thread. Lol. later...
