![]() Cpt Uzziah I have never used RedHat but if you done a full install then everything should be there including KDE. From the command line log in a root and run... # XF86Config From there you will get a text based configurator. Before you answer all the questions make sure you have all the details of your hardware, especially Horizontal and vertical refresh rates of your monitor and stuff like that, also your graphics card. I've found that i needed to mess around with different mouse options or the damn pointer kept shooting to the top of the screen. Once you get to the end you have the option to save, that is why you have to be root cos your changing a file, then do startx, if things are still a bit dodgy then you can go to that file and tweak it a little, so do a whereis or find to find out where it is cos i can't remember, and i'm sitting at a windows machine right now cos my linux box is in bits so i can't check. I use slackware so i can't say if things will be exaxtly the same. Anyway good luck. The best help on the internet... http://www.justlinux.com Got the best forums ever. Replies:
