![]() Tr FOIA I don't use systems that are based on packet managers, but here is the compile & be happy way: download the xchat source code untar the tarball tar -xzvf xchat-x.x.x.tar.gz (use the -v option always, makes it easier to find problems) cd into the new directory ./configure (or simply configure without ./ , depends on your shell settings) make make install thats it.
