    Invalid HTTP referer?

    HTTP Referer Err0r

Some readers using Norton Personal Firewall from Symantec and other
misc firewalls, will encounter problems viewing and using some of
    the features within CyberArmy.

By default, Norton's Firewall prevents Web browsers from
transmitting the URL of the current Web page when requesting a
graphic or new document. CyberArmy's server, which hosts the cMS/forum/
other code, will not display them if its software cannot verify that a
    member is coming from www.cyberarmy.com

To fix this problem, you must modify Norton's Firewall to pass the required
information to this specific Web site. Doing so will not change your other
    security settings.

Here's what you need to do:

    1. Open "Norton Personal Firewall" and click "Options" on the main screen.

If you have other Norton products installed, such as AntiVirus, select
"Personal Firewall" from the "Options" menu. (Note: Some versions may label
this "Internet Security" instead, like mine.)

    Step 1

    2. Click the "Advanced Options ..." button in the dialog box that appears.

    Step 2

    3. Click the "Add Site" button in the "Advanced Options" window.

    Step 3

    4. Type www.cyberarmy.com in the "New Site/Domain" dialog box, then click the "OK" button

    Step 4

    5. Select "www.cyberarmy.com" in the list of domains in the left pane, and set the options as indicated:

    * Check the box "Use these options for www.cyberarm.com"
    * Select "Permit" under "Referer"

    Step 5

    6. Click "OK" to save your changes and close this window.

    7. Click "OK" again to close the "Advanced Personal Firewall Options" window.

    8. Exit Norton Personal Firewall.

You should be able to view and use all features of CyberArmy.

Note: On some systems, it may be necessary to restart Windows before the changes take effect.
