    I have recently been infected witha a trojan. I wanted to know how to remove it my self and what steps i can take to make sure that i got all of it's files.

      You can scan you pc online there.
      It won't protect you forever, but it can be used to remove virusses.

      i would get the latest version of either Norton Anti-Virus or McAfee VirusScan, install it, and scan your system. this should at least discover specifically what trojan it is.

      if you already know which one it is, use Google to search for information about how to remove it completely.

        The AntiVirus Scan should tell ya what kinda trojan it is AFAIK :)

        Fix-It Utilites also makes has a very good anti-virus (I like it better than mcafee norton, but I guess that's a personal call). Another program that I would seriously suggest obtaining is TheCleaner. As far I as have seen, it one of the best, if not THE best, at detecting and removing trojans. It also has a nice database that you can sort through and get a description of each trojan (port, type, how serious it is). Hope it works out for you.
