so here is a statement from the 'new guy'!!

so i joined the brigade as im interested in security etc.
i then joined the int,sec brigade and was conversing with a compatriot with a view to organising a new project, just as was required of me as a member of any brigade.

i follow instructions and start to upload information when required to the relevant locations, then ......

im discharged from the brigade 'due to restructuring'!!!!!! and told to either volunteer as an op (which i did) or join a project. which i didnt do as im interested in starting a new project within the brigade....

i havent heard from anyone regarding anything to do with either the brigade or project or volunteering....

seems to me that cyberarmy aint what it used to be.
Is this a lost cause? are you deliberately trying to fob off any newcomers with new ideas or am i just getting the wrong end of the stick here?

i do know everyone has their lives, christ im really busy with research etc....
if noone is interested let me know and ill resign!!

if you are interested give me some feed back and keep the morale up!!!

    or dont and ill leave!!

    thanks

      kayzer,

We've been going through some rehashing of late. Depending on individual Brigade needs and goals, depends on what's been done, and what's going to happen in the future. It's natural to be concerned about being removed from a Brigade, but as int16h said, there have been posts with details of what/why is going to be happening, and what you can do to contribute to the new structure of things.

It's absolutely nothing personal, and there's plenty you can be part of here as long as you follow the requirements set out for each project. The good thing about being part of projects is that you're not at all limited at how many you can join, or participate in actively. It's very grassroots community driven, and so I hope you'll take another look at what's available and decide where your interests are.

      :)

Please stop 'shouting' and being over-dramatic. Posts have been made on public, members01 and our 2 public projects forums with clear instructions on how to join or propose projects, we also have an IRC channel which most of our active members use... if you want to work with CAIS projects, please join one or propose a new one via the Project Coordination project like everyone else.

If you read the forums and keep up to date with issues, you'd know what was happening.

      Aloha kayzer soze,

please calm down and stop torturing your '!' button.

To speak the truth I don't see your problem. It was not only you who was discharged but the whole brigade (except the X/Os of course). And it was a good step. Okay, it was done unheralded, but that's still fine for me. Nothing to cry about.

I still can't get why people are that crazy about colors. CyberArmy is about its projects, about learning and contributing, not about brigades. But you already said it yourself, if you really want to have the yellow color back start your own project under CAIS (like you seem to intend).

All brigades.. no, wait, my fault.. CyberArmy is always in urge of getting new members. Knowledgeable or not doesn't matter, it's all about their activity and will to learn.

      > if you are interested give me some feed back and keep the morale up!!!
      > or dont and ill leave!!

What was your intention by writing this? Open your eyes, it's alone your decision.

And don't take this 'feedback' as the opinion of the whole community. Also I don't want to insult you with this post, I just think you overreacted.

      Cheers,
      kasi

          Aloha kayzer,

don't worry about it. Happens to everyone sometimes. Just join the IRC, it makes discussing things much easier ;)

          Cheers,
