please note any messages you may get, we have recently re-enacted our policy of scanning hosts for open proxies. If you are detected as using an open proxy you will be denied access to the network. Please secure your system and visit the link in gzline message. Otherwise you will continue to be banned from the network.
Thanks,

Hmm... are you sure you don't have any proxy/firewall configured in your IRC client (the "firewall" section of mIRC's config, or similar in other clients)?
I've heard of ISPs transparently proxying HTTP (port 80/tcp), but not other services - and, your message wasn't posted via a proxy afaict, certainly not the same one, so that probably rules that out. If it is transparent proxying of IRC connections only (maybe a strange invasive govt/ISP policy in your region?), I can't understand why the proxy would be open to the rest of the net, which it is.
Please check those settings again, maybe try another IRC client, or a fresh install. If you still have no luck, reply and I'll see if we can work out what is wrong :)

well i am 100% sure about not having any proxy or socks on mirc. and i also tried to delete and install a new one .. but that doesn't seem to work !
i am sure it is coz of something new added to the servers! cause i've always joined without having any problems using the same connection and the same way :)
