 Maj makomaster OK, Another one of my silly win98 questions: I use a dial up connection which disconnects after 20 mins of inactivity. On my linux box this disconnection does not occur. I wonder if anyone has come up with a shell script type thingo for the win machines to send out a ping every 19 mins or something like that to avoid this disconnection? Any ideas? Also, Is someone or group compiling the questions and answers here into some sort of help files?? cheers makomaster |
