using wap gateways/proxy...

I'm using my cellphone to connect connect my laptop to the itnernet, but i cant run peer to peer programs. The guys at ech support can't figure out what to do. surprise surprise.

any idea what i should do? they've given me an ip address (whcich is basically for setting up the cellphone itself), and they call it the "Gateway/WAP proxy/Proxy IP address". they've given a port as well. Any idea what to do? ive tried putting the ip in the "proxy server" options in bit comet, but it still dosen't work....

and if anybodies got a good explanatory file on how cells work as modes, etc, or anthing related, please do paste a link....
