problem with log in

my session timeout is set to 24h, without secure login.
i'm using firefox and since monday i have to log in again on CA each time i close firefox. I don't even have the old msg "session expired" it's like if my cookie was deleted... but my session timeout is still set to 24h so i don't understand, it should be reset to 1 if there was no cookie anymore !
please help me, i'm too lazy to login each time i visit ^_^
