Just got my PSP and I love it. I didn't buy the sony USB cable yet. It was pretty expensive for a USB so I was wondering if the one sold by Sony is any different than some generic brand? If not, where could I pick one up?

I agree, the Sony sold USBs are too expensive. To answer your question, no there is no difference between their USB and a generic one. You just probably won't get a completely white cable if you go generic. I recommend checking out www.tendonusa.com 's USB cables. They're cheap and just as good (if not better) quality.

Yeah :)
GameStation (UK) sell a little kit which includes a screen protector, 2 UMD cases, holder strap and a USB cable for only 3 GBP (~6 USD) and the cables work fine as DVitoSam said :)
