![]() ![]() Beta Tr nikkitracks OK, so I missed out the word "likely" - most P4 boards don't support the power requirements of a C2D. They also generally have DDR memory, as opposed to the DDR2 on boards designed specifically for C2D CPUs. Unless the board was bought later than the CPU (or the CPU was really old when he bought the board), it's unlikely that it supports C2D processors...particularly since he clearly has a single-core 2.8GHz P4.
