Purchasing a new mac

I will be (finally) purchasing an upgrade system in the coming week or so. I have settled on a MacBook... but there is one lingering question: White or Black?

I know that the Black machines cost more, but I have read that they resist the discoloration that I saw in the early white macbooks due to heat. Also, they are supposed to not be as easy to dirty up... and of course, they look sleek :-D

However, there is a ~$150 price difference in the models. Does anyone else own a white or black macbook that would care to offer input from their experiences?
