![]() Tr tpp hmmm, strange, i would try it in another box, that's the only real way to see if it's the drive or not. what happens when you try to burn something? don't go by what "My Computer" says, unless of course it's saying "device inaccessible" or "device not ready". Or is it that it can still burn, it's just not reading what it's written? try putting in a cd and using nero or whatever burning application you use to provide "disc info". in nero, click Recorder > Disc Info see if it can read it if you have another optical drive, boot up knoppix or a linux live cd and see if it can read it from there, that will tell you if it's a problem with 'doze elsewise i'd just contact LG and see if they'll replace it, or just get a LiteOn or something, they're the cheapest and their 16x DL DF is the highest rated dvd burner on the market, and nearly the cheapest. - TheP|nkPanthe|2 [Paravile] If NT is the answer, it must have been a stupid question.
