did you just recently upgrade to windows xp?

most of my research seems to indicate that that is when it comes up most often.

either you've got disk space issues, bad video card drivers, damaged ram, or just a bad windows install (basically) - also your BIOS might need to be updated

most of my reading indicates bad RAM. did you recently install more?
